Ms. Green graduated from the University of New Mexico, School of Law, cum laude, in December 2000 after receiving her Masters Degree in Spanish in 1990. She has clerked for both Judge James Wechsler of the New Mexico Court of Appeals and the recently-retired Justice Joseph Baca of the New Mexico Supreme Court. A native of Mobile, Alabama, she has been in New Mexico since 1988. Her practice areas include general civil litigation and appellate work, including insurance coverage and medical malpractice defense.
Miller Stratvert PA is pleased to announce that Stephen B. Waller has joined the firm as an associate.
Stephen Waller holds a B.A. from Harvard College, a J.D. from Harvard Law School and an MBA from the University of Minnesota.
Prior to joining Miller Stratvert P.A., Mr. Waller was an associate with Foley & Lardner in Milwaukee, where he represented corporate borrowers and lenders, consumer-finance service providers, and financial institutions. Mr. Waller also spent five years in the United States Navy as a nuclear-trained submarine officer.
Mr. Waller is a licensed attorney in New York, Illinois, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, and expects to be licensed in New Mexico in April 2010. He will practice in the areas of commercial and corporate transactions.

Kirk Allen graduated from California State University, Fullerton, with a B.A. in 1982 and he received his J.D. from the University of New Mexico in 1988. He was admitted to the State Bar of New Mexico in 1989 and Washington, D.C. in 1991.
Mr. Allen was a member of the National Moot Court Team at the University of New Mexico. He is the editor of the Insurance section of the Defense News Journal for the New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and the New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association. He concentrates his litigation practice in the areas of business and commercial litigation, and insurance defense.
